Automatic ECU Patch Generator

An ECU patch is a predefined change applied to an ECU file. Map Decoder generates validated patches automatically — emission solutions, DTC removal and Stage tuning — and corrects the checksums so the file is accepted by the ECU.

How it works

From file to validated patch

Detect

The ECU family is identified and the relevant maps are detected automatically.

Select modules

Choose validated modules — EGR, DPF, AdBlue, DTC, Stage 1/2 — in one interface.

Validate & correct

AI plus human validation runs, then checksums are corrected automatically.

FAQ

ECU patch generator — frequently asked questions

What is an ECU patch?

An ECU patch is a predefined change applied to an ECU file, such as EGR off, DPF off or DTC removal. Map Decoder generates these patches automatically and corrects the checksums.

Are the patches validated?

Yes. Every patch passes AI plus human validation before it is packaged into a MapPack, which minimises the risk of a rejected or unstable flash.

Does it correct checksums automatically?

Yes. Checksum correction is applied automatically as part of patch generation, so the modified file is accepted by the ECU.

Which modifications are available?

EGR, DPF, OPF/GPF, AdBlue/SCR, Lambda, NOx, VMAX, swirl flap, start/stop, additive and Stage 1/2/3, among others.
