Targeted, validated DTC removal
Select codes
Use the DTC manager to bulk-select and filter the codes related to your modification.
Apply
The selected codes are suppressed in the calibration automatically.
Correct checksums
Checksums are recalculated so the modified file is accepted by the ECU.
Off-road notice: DTC removal is intended for off-road / competition use, typically alongside emission modifications. Do not suppress safety-critical codes. Compliance with local law is the user's responsibility.
DTC removal — frequently asked questions
What is DTC removal?
DTC removal suppresses specific diagnostic trouble codes in the ECU so they are no longer logged or trigger a warning. Map Decoder applies it automatically.
Will it clear the dashboard warning light?
Removing the relevant DTC prevents the associated fault from being raised, which typically stops the related warning light after a modification such as EGR or DPF off.
Which codes can be removed?
Specific codes related to a modification can be targeted using the DTC manager. Safety-critical codes should not be suppressed; this is for off-road / competition use.
Is it automatic?
Yes. Select the codes in the DTC manager and Map Decoder applies the change and corrects the checksum.
